REFLECTION
We spent some time reflecting on 2011 and what has been achieved through Novi Most in the last 12 months. There has been much to encourage us in this work and we are pleased with the young people who have been working hard, making friends and having fun together. On one of the last older youth session it was so good to see the young people in no rush to finish. They were playing cards, table football and chatting as if they were already at home! What was so encouraging for us was that all three ethnic groups were represented there, and it didn't matter to them.
We praise God that we have been part of what He is doing in breaking down barriers by providing an environment where they feel safe, cared for and comfortable. That can only be achieved where the Spirit is present.
It is now over 5 years since we moved to Bosnia Herzegovina. We can still remember the first few months when everything was new and a bit overwhelming. Then, after six months in Mostar we moved to Capljina and set up Centar Novi Most. Since Centar opened we have met countless young people. Many have recently earned a Cambridge University certificate in English, some an eDCC computer diploma and it is very encouraging that we have got to know so many parents and their children.
Even though many do not yet know Jesus personally as their Lord and Saviour, we hope and pray that a seed has been sown and that they have seen something of Jesus, His kingdom and love through us. We praise God for those who have decided to ask Jesus into their life, for those who are actively becoming disciples and for those who are, for the moment, just curious.
Ali discerned at the beginning of last year that God was telling her that life was starting to get comfortable and this challenged her. Through prayer and reflection Ali seized the opportunity to apply for the position of Field Director with Novi Most. The calling was confirmed as she was successful in getting the position and has now taken up the new role. We will still be living in Capljina although the position will involve more travelling and meeting people throughout Bosnia Herzegovina. It is a very exciting time as we settle into a new family routine.
Thank You!
Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support which is so necessary in enabling us to help build the kingdom of heaven here in Bosnia Herzegovina. We hope to see many of you this summer as we return for a short beak of a couple of months.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3: 16,17 (NIV)
